No, students will not be allowed to fly to the US if vaccinated by India’s Covaxin and Russia’s Sputnik.
India’s Covaxin and Russia’s Sputnik are among the few vaccines not approved by the World Health Organisation (WHO). So, anyone who has taken any of these vaccines will have to get themselves revaccinated to travel to the US for further studies.
American students have access to the Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, three of the eight doses allowed by the global health body.
